This Privacy Policy explains how Coursey Creative collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Coursey Commerce Platform (CCP).

2. Information we collect

We may collect account and profile details, business configuration data, order and customer workflow data submitted through CCP integrations, and technical logs needed for platform security and operations.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide CCP features, authenticate users, process transactions, send operational communications, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate CCP, including Supabase (data/storage), Stripe (billing/payments), Resend (email delivery), Framer (integration endpoints and customer-facing workflows), and Google Gemini (AI content generation for financial insights).

5. AI features and data handling

CCP's AI financial assistant ("Penny") uses Google Gemini to generate insights based on your business data. When you use AI features, relevant financial metrics (revenue, expenses, category totals) are sent to the AI model to generate a response. This data is used solely at the time of generation and is not stored, retained, or used for model training by Google.

We do not sell, share, or provide your business data to any third party for their own purposes. AI-generated summaries and conversation history are stored exclusively within CCP's own database infrastructure (Supabase) and are subject to the same access controls and data isolation as all other business data on the platform.

You may delete your AI conversation history at any time from the Insights page.

5. Cookies and similar technology

CCP uses essential session/authentication cookies and standard caching behavior required for secure login and platform performance. We do not currently use marketing cookies.

6. Data retention and security

We retain data as needed to operate CCP, support customers, meet legal requirements, and maintain platform integrity. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for security.

7. Data access and deletion requests

If you need access, correction, or deletion of data stored in CCP/Supabase, contact us at legal@courseycreative.com.

8. Jurisdiction

CCP is operated from Washington, United States.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy over time. We will update the effective date when material changes are made.
